Synthetic industrial lubricant developed specifically for refrigeration compressors and formulated for severe service under conditions that are beyond the capabilities of conventional mineral oils. Gargoyle Arctic SHC 226 is designed for reciprocating refrigeration systems with very high compressor temperatures but is also suitable for screw compressors and for use with systems incorporating very low evaporative temperatures. Prevents deposit formation in low temperature systems.

• Reduces discahrge valve deposits and improves compressor efficiency

• Greater chemical stability in the presence of refrigerants

A straight mineral, narrow cut, very low pour point napthenic oil intended for the lubrication of both cylinders and bearings of reciprocating refrigeration compressors with all types of refrigerants except HFC-134A, similar HFC's and sulphur dioxide. Gargoyle Arctic Oil 300 is suitable for a wide range of applications because of its low Freon 12 floc point, low pour point and suitable viscosity. Thermal stability minimises compressor piston ring and exhaust valve deposits.

• Very low pour point maintains evaporator efficiency
• Low volatility maintains viscosity for long service life and low foam tendency
