Mobilgear SHC XMP 320 is a high-performance, fully sythetic gear oil designed to provide optimum equipment protection and oil life under extreme conditions. Mobil's synthesized hydrocarbon technology has been selected for its exceptional oxidation resistance and thermal properties, naturally high viscosity index, excellent low temperature fluidity with none of the undesirable compunds which are often found in mineral oils. The high viscosity index and low traction coefficient of this oil combine to provide a significant reduction in power consumption in many gear drives. Mobilegear SHC XMP 320 contains an advanced and carefully blended additive package designed to provide excellent protection not only against conventional wear modes such as scuffing but also an improved level of protection against micropitting fatigue. In addition, compared to conventional gear oil chemistries, improved lubrication of rolling element bearings is achieved in most gearboxes, including wind turbines. Mobilgear SHC XMP 320 offers outstanding rust and corrosion protection versus conventional gear oils, no tendency to plug fine filters even when wet, excellent resistance to foaming, seal compatibility with non-ferrous metals even at elevated temperatures.
