A premium quality, heavy bodied lubricant made from thermally stable basetocks. It is designed to reduce build-up of harmful deposits caused by the high operating temperatures in steam cylinders. Mobil 600W Super Cylinder Oil is compounded to maintain adequate lubricating and sealing films in steam cylinders, resist water washing and enhance load-carrying abilities. Mobil 600W Super Cylinder Oil whilst originally designed for lubricating steam cylinders, is recommended for couplings, bearings and break-in of compressor cylinders. Also used in splash-lubricated enclosed worm gear sets operating at moderate to high speeds and temperatures.
