Wire Rope oil is a lubricant specifically developed for the lubrication of large diameter wire ropes that travel over sheaves and operate in dusty environments and is recommended for the lubrication of both hoist and drag wire ropes used on draglines used in the mining industry.

• Extremely tacky, reduces fling-off
• No build-up on outer wire strands thus reducing the accumulation of stones and debris around the winch drum and along the rope pathway on field equipment
• Penetrates rope to reduce corrosion and fretting wear of wire strands
• Successfully lubricates the rope/sheave interface to reduce wear, even under high rope tension and large wrap angle around sheaves
• Additives assist in water repellency
